Welcome
Awana missionaries serve their regions by introducing the Awana program to local churches and helping the church use its Awana ministry to reach children and teens by teaching them the saving gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him. Frank and Linda Hobart are Awana missionaries serving the Tennessee Valley region of South Central Tennessee and North Alabama. They have been on the field for over 23 years. Tools for Ministry
Project Joseph: a Solution to a Disturbing Problem Research is frighteningly clear: The next generation lacks the spiritual grounding to assume leadership in the home, church and community. At Awana, we believe it’s time to rethink ministry and discipleship for kids. Inspired by the life of Joseph in Genesis, Project Joseph is a national initiative calling and equipping parents and church leaders to raise kids to be “modern-day Josephs” that know, love and serve Christ! Learn more aobut Project Joseph. Have you heard about Puggles? In many circles, “puggle” is a common term for a baby platypus. In Awana circles, Puggles is an enriching program for your pre-Cubbies kids (usually older 2- and younger 3-year-olds) that presents basic biblical concepts that we are a unique creation of God and that God loves us very much. Learn more at the Awana Puggles website. Our children need a biblical worldview and the Rorheim Institute has prepared some outstanding materials to help parents in their role as shepherds of young children. Their redesigned web site has more details. Are you looking for resources for your Awana Club?
